Katazoma is an ancient form of paste forming the print and indigo dyed.  this piece is lighter than the traditional indigo dyeing and is it over 100 years old.  I have slow stitched to enhance the beautiful fine print. The reverse is a darker indigo piece. I have used the used a red zip with a brass puller and lined in a Liberty print.

Size 10cmx12cm it is the perfect little purse.  and again there is only one.

The reason why I always use red thread:

An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break. — Ancient Chinese proverb
